Ghirardelli Square, the original home of the Ghirardelli family's cocoa, chocolate, box, and mustard factory, which as also grown to include an entertainment complex; AT&T Park, the new home of Major League Baseball's San Francisco Giants; the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, featuring a vast library and historical ships; the Aquarium at the Bay; and Pier 39, featuring 110 shops, restaurants, and other attractions. Pier 39 is San Francisco's No. 1 attraction, with an estimated 10.5 million visitors per year.
It's easy to get around Fisherman's Wharf as a pedestrian, but there are also horse-drawn carriages, pedicabs, and the F-line streetcar. Finding a place to stay won't be a problem either, with more than 2,500 rooms available, with lodging ranging from small inns to full-service hotels.
