The Pacific Coast Fog Fest is an annual celebration of sun, sand, and surf held annually in Pacifica, California. The Fest is held on the same weekend every year, the last full weekend in September, because the weather is historically unbeatable on that weekend.
The action packed family festival is known as a two day Music and Arts and Crafts Fair with boasts a variety of activities for guests of all ages. Fog Fest hosts over 190 arts and crafts booths, three stages of live entertainment, and food to please even the pickiest eater in your family. The Fest has become so big that it even has its own signature drink, the Fog Cutter, served only during Fog Fest each year.
The weekend kicks off on Saturday morning at 10am with the Pacifica Parade and Fog Fest Marching Band Competition. Throughout the weekend the Stars and Stripes Amusement area is open offering children ages three to thirteen a safe haven to go wild. The Amusement park area boasts air filled dragons, slides, jousting arenas, train rides, and basketball and ping pong ball toss contests for fun prizes throughout the weekend. Among the prizes are hermit crabs, a crowd favorite from years past.
In an effort to go green, the Pacific Coast Fog Fest is proud to be moving towards zero waste in the future. All food and beverages will be offered only in biodegradable containers, and the use of plastic will be discouraged everywhere within the Fest. Triangle waste stations will be set up throughout the grounds offering guests the opportunity to dispose of their items in the correct category as explained by trained waste station attendants.
