The Bouchaine Winery holds the distinction of being the oldest continuously operating vineyard in California's Wine Country. The winery sits on historic vineyard grounds that have been ripe with wine production on vineyards since the 1800s. The ownership of the grounds have changed hands over the years, with ownership rights including such wine-making legends as Boon Fly, Johnny Garetto, the Beringer Brothers, and Gerret and Tatiana Copeland. Since the Copeland's took over operations of the winery in 1995, they have completed significant renovations to the property. These renovations have retained the historical character of the property while at the same time modernizing the property with the latest technology, and have won them numerous awards and honors from historic and architectural organizations.
The Bouchaine Winery is known for its exquisite wines, which feature a powerful and robust aroma with a delicate and pure flavor. Over the years, the wines at the Bouchaine Winery have received recognitions and awards from the wine industry. Some of the winery's recent accomplishments include the 2007 Bouchaine Estate Chardonnay, the 2007 Napa Valley-Carneros Estate Chardonnay, the 2006 vintage Bouchaine Estate Pinot Noir, the 2007 vintage Bouchaine Bouche d'Or, and many other flavors.
